Your expertise will be instrumental in projects such as resilience planning, beach nourishment, coastal structures, inlet studies, and more! Coastal Engineer Qualifications/Responsibilities:

• In-person in Columbia, SC or hybrid work situation potential
• Bachelor's degree in engineering with coursework encompassing hydraulics, wave mechanics, structures, and coastal processes
• Master's Degree preferred
• PE registration or EIT
• Around 5+ years of experience in coastal protection/resilience, stormwater management, hydraulic modeling, or similar field
• Create together engineering designs for shoreline protection and restoration, jetties, groins, stormwater mitigation, breakwaters, and other projects
• Interact with clients, contractors, government agencies, and more regarding engineering, permitting, and site development issues.
• Act as project manager as needed
• Make sure the technical aspects of projects meet the quality expectations while also fulfilling the design intent
