Job Summary

Seeking an adept Director of Production to supervise operations within our dynamic trade show design company. Duties involve orchestrating production and facility operations, devising strategies to boost efficiency and profitability, and ensuring exhibit quality meets customer standards. Proficiency in trade show, event, or conference manufacturing is essential.


Director of Production Perks:

Director of Production Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day shop operations and train shop personnel
  • Ensure accurate recording of manufacturing data and maintain physical plant and equipment
  • Participate in annual performance reviews and the hiring process
  • Actively participate in project teams, ensuring effective communication and project accuracy
  • Manage both onsite and offsite warehouses, oversee graphic production, and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Director of Production Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years of exhibit manufacturing or production experience, with at least 7 years in management
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills
  • Knowledge of exhibit operations and procedures, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and strong PC skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in reading construction drawings and problem-solving abilities
