A leading national healthcare law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles, San Francisco, or San Diego office. The Litigation Associate will have a primary focus on litigation in state and federal court, False Claims Act litigation, and healthcare fraud and abuse enforcement actions and investigations. Litigation Associate Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to healthcare law and litigation matters.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices.
- Handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Stay informed about developments in health law and policy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Litigation Associate Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of the office location.
- 1-4 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on healthcare law preferred.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Superior writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Strong interest in health law and policy.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with clerkships will be viewed favorably.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices.
