Regulatory Associate Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to provider reimbursement issues, Medicare and Medicaid appeals, audits, and internal investigations.
- Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for hearings, trials, and appeals.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices.
- Handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Stay informed about developments in health law and policy.
Regulatory Associate Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar in the jurisdiction of the office location.
- 1-4 years of experience in healthcare law, regulatory law, or a related field.
- Outstanding academic credentials.
- Superior writing, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Strong interest in health law and policy.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with judicial clerkship or other relevant government service is preferred but not required.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys across different offices.
