Restaurant General Manager

Job Summary
As the GM, you will be responsible for the restaurant's overall success and profitability. This includes overseeing all aspects of the operation, from food and beverage to customer service and marketing. You should be a highly experienced and motivated restaurant professional with a proven track record of success in the elevated dining industry.
General Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic vision for the restaurant, including setting sales goals and marketing initiatives
- Manage all aspects of the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and tracking expenses
- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of all restaurant staff
- Manage the restaurant's inventory and food costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Monitor and respond to customer feedback
- Work with the chef to develop and maintain the restaurant's menu
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that all guests have a positive dining experience
General Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a management role in a upscale dining restaurant
- Experience with Toast POS
- Strong track record of success in driving profitability and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of all aspects of restaurant operations, including food and beverage, customer service, and marketing
- Michelin or James Beard experience preferred
