Job Summary
Our unique establishment is seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef with a proven history of kitchen leadership. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in farm-to-table cuisine, wine pairings, creative and elegant presentation, classic and progressive cooking, and menu refreshing, including banquet programs. They should also be adept at working in concert with the Executive Team on operations and managing the competing demands of stakeholders with professional savvy.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage all aspects of the kitchen operations for the dining venue, events, and banquets.
- Collaborate and implement menu design in collaboration with the Executive Team
- Be a presentable and a marketable figure for the establishment
Executive Chef Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Executive Chef experience in high-volume upscale/fine dining restaurants, luxury/boutique hotels and/or country clubs.
- Expert knowledge of culinary trends
- Strong financial acumen and ability to work within food cost and labor cost guidelines
- Organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ala carte dining, as well as banquets and events, as well as and working with sales and operations to execute high-end functions
