We are recruiting an Asset Integrity Engineer (Hybrid Remote) in the electric utility space. Candidates will have broad experience in identifying assets that bring maximum value to the organization while aligning reliability, maintenance, and operational activities effectively, ensuring optimal performance.
Asset Integrity Engineer Responsibilities:
- Acts as the subject matter expert with member systems and utility personnel and reports on reliability measures frequently
- Creates processes and procedures to secure current assets and maintenance activity records
- Operates in conjunction with internal and external functional group members to build plans that address areas of reliability concern
- Always working to increase reliability, improve compliance, and drive cost reduction
- Maintains company’s asset and maintenance systems to document work detailed in maintenance programs (with support from IT)
Asset Integrity Engineer Requirements:
- BA Degree (or greater) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in the functions of electric utility systems and producing technical assessments and analysis
- Experience in the power sector, including construction, maintenance, operation of generation systems, high voltage transmission lines and substations, metering, relays, and communication systems
- Capable of successfully managing multiple projects with varied levels of complexity and timelines
- Strong verbal/written communication ability and documentation/organizing skills, critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving skills, and mathematical/analytical proficiency
