Assistant Catering Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Supervise catering staff, ranging from Assistant Managers and Team Leads to Team Members
- Establish a motivating work environment that encourages employee involvement and supports career advancement
- Organize tasks to maintain overall operations, including equipment maintenance, staff appearance, customer service, cleanliness, safety, and merchandising
- Ensure the maintenance and safe operation of all catering equipment
- Provide ample employee training and development opportunities
- Work closely with clients to ensure satisfaction and follow up for feedback after events
- Perform administrative duties, including email correspondence with customers, accurate payroll management, cash handling, invoicing, and service charge processing
Assistant Catering Coordinator Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Willingness to work outside in varying conditions and perform physical tasks
- Understanding of menu items and catering industry best practices
- Experience in catering operations and management
- Familiarity with franchise operating systems (e.g., Square, Salesforce)
- Positive attitude, creativity, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
