Civil Engineer Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
• Active Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure in good standing in Minnesota or North Dakota.
• 10+ years’ experience in municipal engineering projects.
• Proficiency with MnDOT or NDDOT requirements and State-Aid procedures.

Civil Engineer Responsibilities:

• Manage municipal clients and projects, attending city council and commission meetings.
• Develop and oversee design concepts, ensuring timely plan preparation.
• Prepare and administer technical reports, contract documents, and the public bidding process.
• Support business development operations through industry functions and client presentations.
