Position Summary:
The Director of Operational Strategy plays a pivotal role in leading regional transformation initiatives aimed at optimizing operational efficiency, supporting growth strategies, and enhancing profitability. Acting as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to the Regional President, this role involves managing mid-term and long-term planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic project oversight in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This role will be based out of our corporate office in North Atlanta.
Director of Operational Strategy Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute mid-term and long-term regional strategies in collaboration with the Regional President and leadership teams.
- Transformation Leadership: Design and lead regional transformation programs to drive efficiencies, scale operations, and support growth objectives.
- Project & Program Management: Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of key projects within scope and budget.
- Change Management: Guide the organization through strategic change initiatives, fostering alignment and minimizing resistance.
Director of Operational Strategy Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or management consulting.
- 5+ years of leadership in manufacturing or B2B industries, preferably in steel, ceramics, or precision components.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven expertise in significant strategic project management, change management, and stakeholder collaboration in manufacturing/ plant environments.
Director of Operational Strategy Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, starting in the high $100s
- Bonus: Annual incentives targeting 25% of base salary
