Luxury hotel is seeking a Director of Finance. In this role, the candidate will have experience reporting to and advising directly with ownership, management, and the operational team onsite. This role will require meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, management and leadership skills of the accounting team, tact and diplomacy in dealing with various stakeholders, and the ability to work in an ambiguous environment.

Luxury Hotel Director of Finance Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, CPA or MBA preferred
• 4+ years as Director of Finance in a Hotel setting with multiple outlets, 100+ rooms, $10M+ Revenue
• Experience managing proper cash flow at all times
• Experience with de-centralized accounting, closing down to cash
• Experience filing and completing regular tax documents
• Ability to see the big picture and the role that Finance plays
• Proven history of developing financial strategies and advising stakeholders

Luxury Hotel Director of Finance Responsibilities:

• Protect assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
• Manage accounting team and ensure prompt and accurate full-cycle bookkeeping
• Review, approve, and complete all balance sheet reconciliation
• Advise the General Manager and the executive team all financial matters
• Prepare reports for ownership as requested
• Prepare month-end and year-end statements
• Prepare and submit all tax payments and filings
• Participate in a year-end outside audit
• Communicate with ownership, management, and onsite leadership
• Ensure the proper execution of payroll
