We are seeking a Director of Finance, CPA to lead an expanding casual restaurant chain that is growing internationally. This person would report to the CEO areas of responsibilities include accounting, payroll, taxes and financial reporting.

Controller Responsibilities:

• Manage and guide accounting team members to ensure all systems are up-to-date and comply with legal requirements across all markets.
• Oversee the development and management of annual operating, capital, and program budgets.
• Provide support to help achieve business objectives and goals.
• Supervise capital expenditures and related initiatives.
• Ensure accurate financial forecasting and regularly update the CEO on financial performance.
• Monitor cash flow to ensure it aligns with ongoing company operations.
• Oversee payroll processing and the expense reporting system.
• Ensure accounting project deadlines are met and in line with brand standards.
• Manage the implementation and maintenance of accounting systems for new restaurant openings.
• Assess existing systems to determine whether updates or new accounting and payroll solutions are needed.
• Lead the hiring and training efforts for all unit-level accounting staff.
• Foster a positive leadership environment to help drive company progress.

Controller Qualifications:

• 7 or more years of experience as a Controller
• CPA license is required
• Bachelors degree in Finance, or Business Administration
• Hospitality finance experience
