Job Summary
Seeking a driven sales professional experienced in grocery markets to lead as Director of Key Accounts. Drive strategic sales initiatives independently, cultivating relationships with key accounts to expand our premium ready-to-eat products. Collaborate with brokers and buyers, ensuring consistent reorders and growth. Analyze market trends, resolve challenges promptly, and optimize product placement to maximize sales impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage key grocery accounts independently, fostering long-term relationships.
- Develop tailored strategies to meet grocery client needs and drive product success.
- Secure new accounts and grow existing ones, ensuring consistent reorders.
- Collaborate with brokers and buyers to implement effective sales strategies.
- Conduct performance reviews and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Address account challenges promptly to maintain satisfaction and trust.
- Coordinate internally to ensure seamless client delivery and alignment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 8-10 years in account management or sales, preferably in food and grocery.
- Proven ability to independently manage and grow key accounts.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with grocery operations and decision-making processes.
- Analytical mindset with experience in strategic account planning.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events.
