We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Inspector to join our team of professionals. Electrical Inspector Job Responsibilities:

• Perform field inspections during various stages of construction
• Read and examine plans and specifications when required
• Report violations and maintain files/records
• Perform other related duties as required

Electrical Inspector Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of local building codes and current construction procedures/technology
• Interpretation of codes in the field and ability to provide code-compliant solutions
• Ability to effectively interact with staff members, public, contractors, governmental agencies, and other stakeholders
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong time management, organizational abilities, and keen attention to detail
• Demonstrated initiative and independent judgment in problem-solving
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
• Electrical Inspector License required - Florida Standard Inspector License
• Florida Commercial License is strongly preferred
• BORA certification preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in municipal code inspections
• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced education or certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
