Litigation Associate Attorney – Employment Law
A fast-growing litigation firm specializing in plaintiff-side labor and employment law is seeking a talented Employment Litigation Associate to join its team. This firm is composed of personable, published, and well-regarded trial attorneys, along with a group of extraordinary professionals who collaborate closely to achieve exceptional results for their clients.
Litigation Associate Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research on various employment law issues to support cases, client consultations, and legal strategies
- Analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other legal sources to deliver informed legal advice and effective strategies
- Draft critical legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and briefs
- Maintain case files, track deadlines, and communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Assist senior attorneys with litigation tasks such as drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and preparing witnesses
- Participate in all aspects of litigation, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to impactful outcomes
Litigation Associate Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience in employment litigation
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with acute attention to detail
- Proficiency in using legal research tools and litigation software
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
