We are seeking an experienced Nightclub General Manager for a soon-to-open upscale sports bar/lounge.

GM Requirements: Must be currently living in the North Carolina Area - Client not open to relocation candidates!

• 3+ years experience as a General Manager in a high-volume bar concept, or bar-centric restaurant.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to manage financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Knowledge of local liquor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible availability, including late nights, weekends, and holidays.

GM Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth functioning, including opening and closing procedures.
• Hire, train, and manage bar staff, including bartenders, servers, and boh staff.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by maintaining high standards of hospitality.
• Manage finances, including labor costs, inventory, and daily expenses.
• Monitor sales and profitability, implementing strategies to drive revenue growth.
• Handle cash flow, ensure accurate cash handling, and oversee the use of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Ensure the bar complies with health and safety regulations, local laws, and liquor licensing requirements.
