Sous Chef Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and excellence in all dishes.
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
• Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to uphold the restaurant's high standards.
• Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Contribute to menu development by crafting innovative dishes that align with the restaurant's concept and guest preferences.
• Manage inventory, monitor food costs, and ensure efficient utilization of ingredients.
• Ensure timely execution of service while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.

Sous Chef Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Expertise in a variety of culinary techniques and cuisines.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
