Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a talented culinary team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
• Maintain strict control over portion sizes, ingredient quality, and food costs.
• Innovate and execute seasonal specials and new menu items.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement training programs to improve skills and maintain high performance standards.

Chef de Cuisine Qualifications

• At least 5 years of progressive culinary leadership in a high-volume, scratch kitchen.
• Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional dishes.
• Experience in staff training, performance development, and team building.
• Solid understanding of cost control, inventory management, and vendor coordination.
• A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
