We are seeking an Operations Manager for our high-volume, upscale casual dining restaurant located in the heart of the Bay Area. This well-regarded concept is known for its energetic vibe and commitment to excellence, and we’re looking for a dynamic leader who’s ready to step into a hands-on role with growth potential.

If you have 4+ years of experience as an Assistant General Manager (AGM) or in an equivalent full-service upscale dining environment and are ready to contribute to a thriving, independently owned restaurant, this is the opportunity for you!

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • Must have experience working in upscale casual dining with annual sales of $6M+ (ideally, candidates come from reputable Bay Area concepts).
    • 1-2 years of GM experience OR 4 years in an AGM / equivalent role. We are looking for someone with potential to grow into the GM role.

  • Leadership Skills:
    • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a veteran team in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse personalities.
    • Emotional maturity and strong soft skills are a must—this is a hands-on, people-first role.
    • Comfortable with high-pressure situations and able to adapt quickly to changing needs.
  • Operations Management:
    • Expertise in financial accountability, inventory management, and vendor relations.
    • Proven track record of successfully running private events in addition to managing regular restaurant operations.
    • Ability to manage day-to-day operations effectively without a rigid structure.
    • Strong understanding of cost control, labor management, and guest experience.
  • Cultural Fit:
    • We’re looking for someone who is energetic, team-oriented, and has a positive attitude—we need someone who’s ready to dive in and learn how things are done at this unique, owner-operated restaurant.
    • The ideal candidate is an experienced but flexible leader who can adapt quickly and grow with the concept.
    • Candidates who are overly rigid or need to be in complete control will not be a fit.
