Job Summary
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Physicist with a strong background in Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM), Ultra High Vacuum (UHV), and cryogenic environments.
Physicists with STM Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of research primarily focused on STM, UHV systems, and low-temperature environments.
- Advanced proficiency in STM spectroscopy for molecular analysis and a deep understanding of surface passivation techniques.
- Proven ability to independently design and execute experiments while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team setting.
- Demonstrated excellence in working with STM and other UHV instruments, supported by a strong publication record showcasing technical expertise and research achievements.
- Comprehensive understanding of electronics, including the ability to troubleshoot and work closely with the electronics team to maintain and optimize custom equipment.
- Enthusiasm for learning and designing custom UHV systems, with the capability to take a hands-on approach in their operation and development.
