Job Summary

We seek a skilled Data Center Infrastructure Network Engineer to join our dynamic technical team. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and innovate within our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will work collaboratively across multiple projects, automating processes, analyzing system performance, and ensuring seamless operations for our end-users. This role requires flexibility, technical expertise, and a proactive mindset.

Data Center Network Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Manage Linux systems, Red Hat enterprise services, and related infrastructure
  • Implement, operate, and maintain physical and virtual network devices, including switches, routers, VMware NSX-based SDNs, and Kubernetes-based applications
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality network solutions
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation, configuration management, and performance monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, ensuring system stability and security
  • Document system performance and network metrics, providing insights into operations and improvement opportunities
  • Utilize Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence for task management and collaboration
  • Expertise in Linux system management and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python)
  • Proficiency with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and hybrid cloud environments
  • Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST guidelines

Data Center Network Engineer Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Security+ Certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • U.S. Citizenship and a Secret security clearance (with an ability to obtain TS/SCI)
