Cyber Range Engineer Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute cyber range events aligned with mission objectives
- Provide technical expertise in networking, authentication, and system security
- Support cyber exercises and training events, translating mission goals into actionable event environments
- Manage cyber range infrastructure and offer IT, network, and virtual environment support
- Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, delivering expert guidance on tools, systems, and cybersecurity best practices
Cyber Range Engineer Requirements:
- 4+ years with CNO/CNE/CND platforms
- 5+ years in cyber training and validation exercises
- Networking expertise (DNS, routing, TCP/IP troubleshooting)
- Proficiency in tools like MS, AD, Security Onion, VMWare, and RHEL Identity Management
- Experience with cyber protection teams and Joint Events Life Cycle
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, Security+, CCNA, CISSP preferred
- U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI clearance
