Job Summary

We seek a dynamic and experienced Learning Experience Designer to join our team and develop technical training materials for a diverse Department of Defense audience. As an LXD, you will be vital in designing and delivering innovative learning solutions that equip range engineers to operate a cyber training project.

Learning Experience Designer Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain engaging technical training materials across various modalities, including instructor-led, micro-learning, blended learning, and self-paced
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure training aligns with mission requirements and training platform needs
  • Create clear, concise, and user-friendly technical documentation for diverse audiences
  • Implement rapid content development processes in a dynamic environment
  • Evaluate and enhance course effectiveness through feedback and analytics
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies to refine training methodologies and tools
  • Manage multiple projects and deliverables effectively from concept to evaluation

Learning Experience Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in training development, instructional design, and delivery
  • Proficiency in instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and the ADDIE model
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), content development tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud), and evaluation models like Kirkpatrick
  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility for a TS/SCI security clearance
  • Occasional travel may be required up to 10% of the time
