Relationships with Employer Benefit Brokers in the mid to large market segment in the Bay area are required.
Sales Executive Benefits:
- Base salary: $110k - $130k
- Uncapped commission with on-target commission earnings of $145k at 100% quota
- Stock options and 401k

- $75/day entertainment budget for client meetings (lunches, coffee, etc.)
- Marketing budget available for hosting events
Sales Executive Requirements:
- Strong relationships with employer benefit brokers in the mid to large market segment are mandatory (i.e. 25-50 clients and the ideal average group size of 250 to 10,000 lives)
- Candidates who worked for companies over 100 employees up to 2000 employees; smaller or bigger is usually not a fit
- 5+ years experience selling HR-tech or employee benefit solutions; having previously sold through the employee benefits broker channel is required
- Working knowledge of health insurance (Consumer Driven Health) or employee benefits is required
- Proven ability to prospect and generate leads independently and exceed quota
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to sell solution-driven benefits to stakeholders
- Proficient with Salesforce CRM, as well as other sales automation software (i.e. Gong, Zoom)
Sales Executive Responsibilities:
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by traveling in the assigned region
- Effectively manage your broker-generated sales pipeline
- Cold calls to generate new business
- Give compelling presentations on the customer experience that raises the bar in the benefits solution industry
- Driving growth by partnering with health insurance brokers, benefits consultants, general agencies, and registered investment advisors
- Collect and share market intelligence
