We are seeking an experienced and driven International Business Development professional to spearhead the expansion of our innovative product portfolio in global markets. This dynamic role requires a results-oriented leader with a deep understanding of international sales, market strategy, and distributor management in the life sciences sector.
Business Development Manager/Director Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the execution of the company’s marketing and sales strategy to meet and exceed sales goals in assigned international markets
- Continuously monitor and assess performance to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved
- Identify, engage, and establish partnerships with key distributors and channel partners through industry exhibitions, promotional events, and academic conferences
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with distributors to optimize market penetration and brand presence
- Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze trends, customer needs, industry developments, and the competitive landscape in targeted regions
- Provide actionable insights to refine market entry strategies and adapt to evolving industry conditions
- Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
- Oversee cost control initiatives to maximize sales margins and profitability, balancing growth with financial discipline
Business Development Manager/Director Job Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Medicine, Biology, International Trade, or a related field
- At least 5 years of proven sales experience, specifically in life science instruments and consumables
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Extensive experience in navigating markets, cultural differences, and regulatory environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and multicultural setting
- A strong drive to succeed and a passion for making a significant impact in the global life sciences industry
- A solution-oriented, proactive approach to business development and problem-solving
