We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Director of Accounting to head our accounting operations across multiple brands in the retail and corporate food space. This is a hands-on, high-impact role that requires deep expertise in accounting, people management, cost control, and strategic planning.

What You’ll Do

· Lead and manage the accounting department, ensuring accuracy and integrity across financial records

· Oversee financial statement preparation and analysis, ensuring compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards

· Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance financial performance and safeguard assets

· Coordinate budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance reporting

· Manage month-end and year-end close processes for accurate, timely reporting

· Consolidate financials for multiple retail units (50+ locations) and provide insights for decision-making and business growth

· Drive strategies for operational efficiency and sustainable financial performance

· Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings at all levels

· Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of growth and continuous improvement

· Implement scalable business processes that strengthen internal controls and protect company assets

Who You Are

· Minimum bachelor’s in accounting or finance (CPA highly preferred)

· 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a Director/VP role in a high-volume, multi-unit retail or grocery/supermarket environment ($500M+ in revenue)

· Deep knowledge of GAAP, SOX, IFRS, and compliance in financial reporting

· Proven track record in implementing accounting policies, internal controls, and leading audit processes

· Experienced in Corporate Retail or Corporate Food & Beverage Retail accounting, managing a team processing 10,000+ invoices monthly

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

· Proven leadership experience, with oversight of up to 20 finance/accounting team members

· Expertise in ERP systems, with Oracle experience highly preferred

· Skilled in preparing consolidated financial packages for both U.S. and international leadership
