Job Summary
Our innovative client is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Healthcare Product Owner to join their growing team, with experience in electronic health records (EHR) systems preferably. This is a REMOTE position. Must be authorized to work and live in the United States.
Healthcare Product Owner Responsibilities:
Product Ownership
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to translate requirements into actionable deliverables.
- Prioritize and manage the product backlog to align with organizational goals and timelines.
- Lead sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery of product enhancements.
- Provide product vision and direction while incorporating feedback from stakeholders and end-users.
Quality Assurance (QA)
- Design and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts to validate system functionality and data accuracy.
- Conduct detailed reviews of application outputs, reports, and medical claims data to ensure alignment with requirements.
Business Analysis
- Understand business process management and business requirements of the customers and translating them to specific process, control, and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements for healthcare applications, particularly related to CMS programs
Healthcare Product Owner Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Healthcare Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Technical QA Analyst.
- Strong understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems, medical claims data, healthcare analytics, and quality assurance processes.
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with CMS programs and reporting requirements (e.g., MIPS, Stars).
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), or Quality Assurance certifications (CSQA).
Healthcare Product Owner Compensation:
- $100,000 - $140,000 salary and bonuses.
