Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT management or related fields.
- Expertise in Cisco Meraki networking devices, including firewalls, switches, and access points.
- Proficiency with VMware (vSphere, ESXi) and Windows Server technologies (Active Directory, Hyper-V).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proven track record of managing IT projects from start to finish.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, disaster recovery protocols, and data protection regulations.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, MCSE, or Cisco preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain WAN, LAN, and wireless network infrastructure.
- Oversee VMware clusters and ensure the reliability of Windows-based virtual machines.
- Develop and enforce IT policies to ensure security, performance, and system reliability.
- Provide first-level hardware support for venue staff, including PCs, Macs, printers, and access controls.
- Lead IT projects, including installations, system migrations, and upgrades, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Train staff on technology use, manage IT team performance, and foster professional growth.
- Maintain vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and services.
