Director of Tax Services Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA Required
• EA or advanced degree preferred
• Public Accounting background with extensive experience in planning for individuals and small businesses
• Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxation, federal and state tax laws, accounting principles, and tax planning strategies
• Oversee all aspects of the company's tax functions, including planning, compliance, and reporting, with a focus on exceptional client service
• Lead and mentor a team of tax and bookkeeping professionals, promoting collaboration, innovation, and excellence
• Prior leadership or managerial experience, with a track record of overseeing teams and driving business outcomes
• Proficiency in tax software (Lacerte), ERP systems, and financial tools (Power BI)
• In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, with a commitment to staying current on industry trends and developments
