Job Summary

Full-service vacation rental and property management company who values integrity, professionalism, positivity, and common sense.... looking for a new General Manager to work with ownership.

We prefer a local resident who lives in Austin, San Antonio, or anywhere in between those cities.

Vacation Rental General Manager Requirements:

  • 8+ years as a General Manager or similar senior/executive management in the vacation rental industry
  • Familiarity with VRC / PMS System (Streamline, Escapia, Track, etc)
  • Proficiency with MS Office and GSuite
  • Proven abilities in planning and budgeting and creating a concrete strategic vision
  • Knowledge of industry trends and the local market
  • Outstanding communication, organizational, time management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with ownership and local employees
  • Genuine hospitality - putting renters and homeowners first
  • Entrepreneurial spirit - ownership mentality

Vacation Rental General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide and ensure the best possible experience and solutions for homeowners, guests, and employees
  • Drive financial growth and optimization according to company budgets/forecast
  • Recruit, train and manage employees across guest services and operational teams
  • Lead daily office operations to ensure company excellence
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with local community leaders
  • Source and maintain third-party vendor relations
  • Research and implement growth strategies and initiatives
