HVAC/R Technician Job Description

We are seeking a talented HVAC/R Technician to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems. These systems include, but are not limited to:

• Ice machines
• Walk-in and reach-in coolers/freezers
• Rooftop units (RTUs)
• Split systems
• Air handlers
• Exhaust fans
• Make-up air fans
• HVAC/R controls

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems related to HVAC/R equipment and controls, with proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.

HVAC/R Key Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of HVAC/R systems.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate effectively with peers, management, and customers to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction.

HVAC/R Requirements

• 3–10 years of hands-on experience in HVAC/R maintenance, repair, and installation.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• MA Refrigeration License (preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Familiarity with HVAC/R controls and smart devices.
