Job Summary

Goodwin Recruiting has partnered with a growing local Electrical Distribution company to hire an Electrical Engineer to take on a custom redesign role creating engineered to order control panel systems. About You

Your Role:

  • Responsible for creating, updating, and releasing electrical drawing packages for assigned projects in compliance with customer and industry specifications
  • Fully redesign and customize control schemes for electrical systems such as switchgear, switchboards, panelboards, and power distribution circuits.
  • Prepare and release electrical manufacturing drawings inclusive of wiring diagrams, interconnection diagrams and bill of materials to production and purchasing
  • Organize and prioritize information to align with customer service, operations, and regulatory specifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
  • PE License required or ability to obtain in the immediate or near future.
  • 4+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering position for the power distribution industry
  • Understanding of single phase, three phase and DC circuits.
  • Understanding of breaker selection and cable sizing

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NFPA70 and NFPA70E preferred or ability to obtain
  • Solid understanding of wiring diagrams and experience with low-voltage products
