Overview: We seek an experienced and versatile Director of Rooms/ Guest Services Manager to oversee all aspects of a boutique hotel’s operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations. This role involves direct supervision of housekeeping, marketing, beach staff, and other departments, requiring strategic oversight and hands-on involvement.

Director of Rooms/Guest Services Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring each department operates seamlessly and meets high standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies to maintain a smooth guest experience and efficient workflows.
- Coordinate with department heads, including housekeeping, marketing, front desk, and beach staff, to align on goals and maintain quality.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts for all departments, fostering a positive and collaborative team environment.
- Schedule and manage beach staff, housekeeping, front desk, and other teams to ensure adequate coverage and high service standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings to keep staff informed, motivated, and aligned on hotel goals and standards.
- Supervise housekeeping operations, ensuring rooms and public areas are consistently clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive maintenance and repairs, ensuring the hotel’s facilities and equipment are always in top condition.
- Oversee budgeting, revenue generation, and cost management for all departments, working to maximize profitability.
- Prepare financial reports, monitor expenditures, and manage vendor relationships to control costs.
Director of Rooms/Guest Services Manager Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in hotel management, ideally in a boutique or resort setting.
- Proven track record in managing multiple departments, including housekeeping, marketing, and guest services.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in hotel management software, social media platforms, and budgeting/financial analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
