Catering Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:
- Develops catering menus utilizing development procedures
- Daily pre-service, prep lists, and side work
- Monitors operations food ensuring standards are upheld
- Adheres to budgetary guidelines
- Hands on leadership, ensuring all staff are focused on quality control and recipe adherence
- Participates in coaching, counseling, and disciplinary procedures as well as conducts regular meetings
- Prepares inventory considering food cost
Catering Kitchen Manager Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or higher in food service or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in high volume food service, preferably catering
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and sanitary standards
- Able to work 50 hours / week, with a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
