Location: New Orleans, LA
A locally-owned company with over 10 years of success in the New Orleans area, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their residential construction team. They specialize in the sale, installation, and maintenance of solar panel and battery backup energy systems for both residential and commercial clients.
This role involves managing the construction process from start to finish, ensuring all permitting, communication, and administrative needs are handled efficiently and effectively.

Project Coordinator – Construction Responsibilities
- Coordinate residential solar construction projects from initiation through completion
- Oversee permit acquisition, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with engineers, foremen, clients, and permitting offices to facilitate smooth project execution
- Utilize tools such as Slack, ProCore, and Bluebeam to manage schedules, workflows, and documentation
- Ensure all administrative and invoicing tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
- Maintain regular updates to stakeholders, providing transparency and accountability for each stage of the project
Project Coordinator – Construction Qualifications
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in a construction project coordination role. Residential solar or electrical experience is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ProCore, Slack, and Bluebeam, as well as familiarity with permitting processes and construction workflows
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred, butnot required, with relevant work experience
- Attributes: A sense of urgency, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
