Job Summary

We seek a Civil Litigation Paralegal to join our Phoenix office. This role offers the chance to work on various civil litigation matters, primarily focusing on insurance defense, commercial litigation, and trust and estate litigation. We seek a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational and communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, complaints, disclosure statements, and discovery responses
  • Manage discovery, including reviewing, summarizing, and organizing case materials
  • Arrange and coordinate depositions, prepare clients for depositions, and interview witnesses
  • Track court deadlines and ensure timely reporting to insurance carriers and self-insured clients
  • Secure and summarize medical records and other key documents
  • Provide general support to attorneys on assigned cases

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and communication skills with an ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience in civil litigation is preferred but not required; candidates with a strong work ethic will be considered
  • Collaborative team player who thrives in a professional and supportive work environment
