  • Sales Leadership and Strategy:
    • Develop and execute day-to-day, week-to-week, and long-term sales strategies.
    • Lead the entire sales function, including hiring, training, and resourcing the sales staff.
    • Oversee customer account strategies to maximize business growth and retention.
  • Team Management:
    • Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
    • Identify and onboard top talent who can deliver immediate and sustained success.
    • Set up and oversee a call center operation for inside account management.
  • Collaboration and Development:
    • Partner with the Marketing team to align strategies and drive commercial sales.
    • Identify transformative opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
    • Lead initiatives to expand geographic distribution and close sales across territories.
  • Business Development:
    • Focus on long-term retention through effective business development strategies.
    • Attend and manage trade shows, representing the company to grow networks and opportunities.
    • Provide evidence of transformative work to drive results in the Charlotte Market.
  • Accountability and Metrics:
    • Communicate budgets, account progress, and team achievements to senior leadership.
    • Manage resources effectively to ensure the team meets and exceeds goals.
    • Focus on impactful leadership to drive real outcomes.

Key Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in progressive sales, preferable in residential construction
  • Proven success in sales leadership with a track record of growing teams and revenue.
  • Strong business development experience, including inside account management.
  • Ability to influence and inspire others with exceptional communication skills.
  • Self-driven, innovative, and focused on results.
  • Experience managing marketing alignment and taking ownership of sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform underperforming sales processes into success stories.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $150,000 base with the potential to double in commission (up to $300,000 total company)
