Job Summary

We are seeking a Director of Senior Living Services for a highly regarded facility in Southwest Florida (Ft. Myers). This leadership position oversees operations for a 180-bed licensed facility providing skilled care, long-term care, and memory care, with a focus on maintaining a five-star CMS rating.

Director of Senior Living Services Qualifications:

  • Current Florida Nursing Home Administrator License.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a licensed administrator in a long-term care setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of state and federal regulations for skilled nursing facilities
  • Strong leadership skills to build and manage multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication skills for resolving complex issues
  • Proven success in quality assurance programs and achieving high resident satisfaction
  • Proficiency with EMR systems and modern technology platforms

Director of Senior Living Services Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Manage key departments, including Nursing, Compliance, Admissions, Social Services, and Activities
  • Develop and implement policies to maintain licensure standards
  • Lead recruitment and retention initiatives to sustain appropriate staffing levels
  • Oversee budget management and capital improvement projects
  • Maximize revenue opportunities while maintaining census goals
  • Promote quality assurance initiatives across all areas
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
  • Maintain fire safety, emergency preparedness, and compliance with safety protocols
  • Address resident and family concerns to foster satisfaction and a positive environment
