BOH Manager Qualifications:
- Proven experience in kitchen management or supervisory roles.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food handling, cost control, and vendor management.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- ServSafe Manager Certification required; bilingual in English/Spanish, a plus.
BOH Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead all kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and food quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff to maintain consistent performance.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus, specials, and promotions.
- Control food costs by optimizing portions, reducing waste, and maintaining efficient inventory practices.
- Conduct inventory audits and manage vendor relationships.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques.
