We are an internationally acclaimed, Forbes 5 Star hotel group known for our upscale and fine dining establishments. We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to help our dessert program. This is an incredible opportunity to showcase your skills in creating exquisite pastries, cakes and desserts in a high-end setting. *Relocation to Virginia
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and curate an innovative dessert menu
- Incorporate seasonal ingredients and modern techniques
- Monitor and manage ingredient costs, inventory, and labor to ensure the profitability of the pastry department. Work closely with the executive chef and management to meet financial goals
- Maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation in all pastry offerings. Ensure that every cake and dessert leaving the kitchen meets our upscale dining standards
- Stay ahead of trends and continuously innovate by introducing new desserts, special offerings, and seasonal treats that keep our menu fresh and exciting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Pastry Chef in upscale or fine dining establishment
- Deep knowledge of pastry techniques with a flair for creating visually stunning and delectable pastries.
- A creative mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt based on seasonal ingredients and evolving culinary trends
