Social Work Program Administrator I Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
  • Current North Carolina Social Work licensure (LCSW or LCSWA preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in social work program coordination or administration.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage social service programs.
  • Experience managing staff and resources to ensure program efficiency and effectiveness.


Social Work Program Administrator I Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing the planning, implementation, and administration of social work programs.
  • Managing and supervising program staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborating with community partners and stakeholders to identify service needs and resources.
  • Ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations.
  • Monitoring program outcomes, preparing reports, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing program budgets and resources effectively.
