Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:-
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline kitchen processes-
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsand maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation-
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and food preparation-
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed-
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction-
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop menus, specials, and promotions-
- Manage food costs by controlling portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing inventory levels-
- Conduct regular inventory audits and order supplies as needed-
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new culinary technique
Kitchen Manager Qualifications:-
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a kitchen environment-
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team-
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, vendor management, and cost control-
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in food handling-
- Sequence and complete all orders (in-store & online) accurately and in line with prep time standards.-
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment-
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff and management teams-
- Conduct inventories, place accurate orders with vendors, receive and inspect orders according to our high-quality standards.-
- Develop, motivate, and manage kitchen team members.
- Provide ongoing feedback, set expectations, and supervise day-to-day activities to ensure consistent delivery of our offerings.-
- Proven experience in the food industry, with a strong background in food handling, preparation, and production-
- ServSafe Manager Certification-
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) ++
