Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:-

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline kitchen processes-
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsand maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation-
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food production, inventory control, and food preparation-
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed-
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction-
  • Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop menus, specials, and promotions-
  • Manage food costs by controlling portion sizes, minimizing waste, and optimizing inventory levels-
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and order supplies as needed-
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new culinary technique

Kitchen Manager Qualifications:-

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a kitchen environment-
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team-
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, vendor management, and cost control-
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in food handling-
  • Sequence and complete all orders (in-store & online) accurately and in line with prep time standards.-
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment-
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with staff and management teams-
  • Conduct inventories, place accurate orders with vendors, receive and inspect orders according to our high-quality standards.-
  • Develop, motivate, and manage kitchen team members.
  • Provide ongoing feedback, set expectations, and supervise day-to-day activities to ensure consistent delivery of our offerings.-
  • Proven experience in the food industry, with a strong background in food handling, preparation, and production-
  • ServSafe Manager Certification-
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) ++
