Job Summary
We seek an Event Sales Manager with experience in wedding and social event sales. In this role, you’ll lead in driving event bookings, fostering relationships, and showcasing our venue’s unique appeal.
Events Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to inquiries, conduct qualification calls, and schedule appointments.
- Guide clients through the sales journey, including on-site tours, contract negotiations, and event bookings.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, ensuring seamless transitions from initial contact to event handover.
- Oversee follow-ups, payment collection, and preparation of final invoices to guarantee client satisfaction.
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets while maintaining accurate booking projections.
- Collaborate in weekly sales and event planning meetings to align strategies.
- Partner with the marketing team to update sales collateral and website content.
- Cultivate relationships with local wedding planners, vendors, and influencers to grow brand presence.
- Attend tastings and other client-focused events to enhance experiences and foster rapport.
Events Sales Manager Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- 3–5+ years of proven success in wedding and social event sales.
- Deep knowledge of the local wedding market and strong networking skills.
- Track record of negotiation, closing deals, and consistently achieving sales goals.
- Exceptional communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.
- Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with Tripleseat is a plus.
Events Sales Manager Compensation:
- Base Salary: $70,000–$90,000 plus commission.
