Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Wedding & Event Sales Manager with 3-5+ years of experience in wedding and event sales. In this role, you will play a key part in growing our event bookings, building client relationships, and showcasing the unique charm of our venue. Key Responsibilities:
- Event Sales & Client Management:
- Respond to inquiries, conduct qualification calls, and schedule appointments.
- Lead clients through the sales process, including on-site walk-throughs, contract negotiations, and bookings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients from initial contact to event handover.
- Ensure seamless follow-up, collecting payments, and preparing final invoices.
- Goal Achievement & Team Collaboration:
- Meet monthly sales goals and maintain accurate booking projections.
- Participate in weekly sales and event meetings.
- Update sales collateral and website content with the marketing and sales team.
- Networking & Brand Representation:
- Foster relationships with local wedding planners, vendors, and influencers.
- Attend client tastings to enhance their experience and build rapport.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in wedding/social event sales.
- Knowledge of the local wedding market and strong networking abilities.
- Proven ability to negotiate, close deals, and meet sales targets.
- Strong communication skills and professional etiquette.
- Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
- Proficiency in Google Suite; familiarity with Tripleseat is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $75,000 - $85,000 base salary plus commission.
