Compliance Generalist Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate company procedures for compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for Casino
  • Enforce and investigate violations of company policies.
  • Conduct compliance-related administrative tasks (data entry, document management, compliance audits/reports).
  • Provide compliance guidance and training to team members.
  • Conduct testing of risk areas and identify reportable issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of compliance correspondence and ensure follow-up.
  • Assist with BSA/AML compliance requirements as needed.
  • Review internal audit responses to ensure implementation of findings and recommendations.
  • Prepare preliminary compliance reports for the Director of Compliance (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Respond promptly to information requests from the TGA and governmental agencies.
  • Distribute compliance correspondence to relevant departments as directed.
  • Assist the Director of Compliance in liaising with the TGA and governmental agencies on compliance issues.

Compliance Generalist Qualifications:

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Casino (Gaming Departments), Banking, Auditing, or Regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in BSA/AML
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as Casino Regulations, Minimum Internal Controls, Federal laws, and policies and procedures.
  • College Degree in Communication, English, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to perform auditing procedures, including the ability to recognize, research, and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
  • Experience in Indian Gaming
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
