Senior Bookkeeping Accountant Responsibilities and Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, preferably in multi-client/multi-unit environments.
• Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel.
• Background in supporting trades such as plumbing, electrical, or construction is a plus.
• Experience with billable hours and detailed financial reporting/analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A proven ability to handle end-to-end bookkeeping processes.
• Deliver comprehensive bookkeeping and accounting services for clients.
• Manage daily transactions including A/R, A/P, sales, cash receipts, and disbursements.
• Perform monthly reconciliations for vendor accounts, bank statements, and credit cards.
• Handle balance sheet accounts like petty cash, payroll liabilities, and loans.
• Process and post payroll accurately and efficiently.
• Complete month-end closing and prepare detailed financial reports with actionable insights for clients.
