Job Summary

We are seeking a Controller to join a 50-year-old machining manufacturer located in Indianapolis. The Controller is responsible for the oversight of the US financial accounting function while providing organizational and administrative support. Controller Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Accounting Operations
  • Coordinate and supervise all closing activities
  • Manage and review all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Analyze operating results and variances and their effect on the business
  • Coordinate, prepare, and review the annual business plan and the quarterly financial forecast
  • Develop and monitor policies, procedures, and practices relating to financial and internal controls
  • Participate in the development and execution of strategic and business plans

Controller Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in leadership roles responsible for financial accounting
  • CPA Required
  • Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and personnel management skills
  • Excellent PC skills. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus
