About the Chemical Process Engineer:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Process Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of engineering tasks on both large-scale projects and smaller initiatives, providing process designs, troubleshooting, and engineering support.

Chemical Process Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Process Design & Deliverables: Develop detailed process designs and engineering documentation, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), mass and energy balances, P&IDs, and equipment specifications
- Problem-Solving & Design Solutions: Address hydraulic, heat, and mass transfer issues by designing practical solutions, utilizing field data and customer input
- Engineering Calculations: Perform manual and software-based engineering calculations to support system design and optimization
- Equipment Sizing & Specification: Size and specify equipment such as pumps, heat exchangers, pressure vessels, and other key process components. Collaborate with mechanical engineers on equipment specifications and design details
- Project Communication & Collaboration: Regularly communicate technical information with project teams, addressing issues and providing timely solutions that align with project objectives
- Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, customers, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless coordination and project success through effective communication channels
Chemical Process Engineer Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field from an ABET-accredited program
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in process engineering
- Process Systems Expertise: Strong understanding of process systems, including P&ID development, control philosophy, and the design and operation of fluid transfer, heat exchange, and piping systems (including friction loss calculations)
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering calculations and software tools for process design and analysis
