Job Summary
We are looking for an Executive Catering Chef to lead off-premise catering events. We are looking for someone who can lead a team and ensure all quality standards and procedures are executed consistently and with professionalism. The Catering Chef needs to have high-volume experience!
This position is in Charlotte, NC - Relo Assistance Available
Executive Catering Chef Responsibilities:
- Develop the back of the house team and hold them accountable to promote internal growth
- Effectively manage all aspects of set up, service, and breakdown of off-site events with great precision and cleanliness
- Represent the brand with honesty and integrity
- Understand and adhere to all food preparation standards, plating techniques, and recipes
- Actively participate in meetings with the catering manager to ensure guest satisfaction
- Proactively address issues that impact food quality and guest service
- Manage schedule to ensure the proper event coverage (scheduling with the BOH team)
Executive Catering Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years catering experience
- Off Premise experience, a MUST!
- Have recent experience in high-volume catering as a catering chef
- Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Highly motivated to succeed with strong attention to detail
- Professional in appearance and conduct
- Will consider a high-level Executive Sous Chef
