Veterinarian-Medical Director Requirements:

• 3–5 Years of Veterinary Medical Director Experience
• DVM
• Valid Florida State Veterinary license REQUIRED
• Valid DEA License, or the ability to obtain one ASAP
• Certificate in Shelter Medicine would be fantastic!
• You MUST love animals!!

Veterinarian-Medical Director Responsibilities:

• Spearhead medical protocols and standards
• Lead your team on treatment strategies for our patients
• Perform procedures in compliance with ASV guidelines: spay & neuter surgeries, dental radiography, exploratory laparotomies, tumor removal, amputations, etc.
• Regulate compliance with Federal and State regulations
• Create a compassionate and caring culture for our patients
